The History of the Online Market
The Online Farmers Market began as a collaboration between the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department and Field to Family in May 2020. Both organizations value local vendors and producers and the need of the community to have access to locally grown fresh produce and products. Together we provided access to a contact-free market in response to the coronavirus pandemic for the duration of the regular Iowa City Farmers Market Season.
Due to customer and farmer demand, Field to Family continued to run the market independently.
Order every Sunday at 5 PM to Tuesday at Noon for Thursday Pick up or Delivery from Earth Day to Winter Solstice & Monthly in January, February & March!
Field to Family’s contact-free Online Market season offers seasonal produce, meat, dairy plant starts and value-added food and farm products from our farmer partners! Ordering opens every Monday at 8 AM, closes at noon on Tuesdays for pick up or delivery on Thursdays.
