Field to Family is expanding its Food Hub operations team!

Title: Operations Coordinator

Description: The Operations Coordinator provides day to day support to Field to Family, including its food system education and food hub operations. 

The Operations Coordinator will work with the Field to Family team to receive fresh food products, pack, deliver and distribute food to customers and partners, ensure food safety and storage, assist with procurement, provide customer service to producers and customers, maintain and clean warehouse space, and maintain and clean vehicles. Duties include: lifting, moving, cleaning, organizing, reporting and maintaining warehouse equipment.

 Hours: 40 hours per week, primarily during the day on weekdays, with few evenings and weekends with notice.  

Compensation: $17/hour; Health, vision and dental insurance plan available  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Applicants must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license
  • Lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to drive and manage a refrigerated van, a box truck and to learn 
  • High-energy individual with a strong work ethic 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills  
  • Competent working with Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, Local Food Marketplace, PC and OS operating systems
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to interact with a diverse population of the public and work in various communities
  • Team player and supportive of program and community development projects
