Find Local Food

If each individual in the region spends 10% of their food dollars on local food,
the regional economy gains $83 million per year.

The Local Food Finder is a project of Field to Family, which opens new markets for family farmers by educating consumers and food businesses about the benefits of buying locally, connects farmers and consumers and celebrates locally grown foods and those who grow them.

Our listing is of farms and farmers specifically located in the Iowa Valley foodshed, which is within and contiguous to Johnson and Linn counties (Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Delaware, Iowa, Jones, Keokuk, Louisa, Muscatine & Washington). However, we sometimes include a farm outside of our foodshed if they offer locally grown products that aren’t grown inside our foodshed.

Don’t see a farm or food business that should be included? Please let us know!
